Remake of a rushed version, the lighting and shading on the original was better but I cant recall the sequence of lighting effects I applied and in what order or blending modes!

Heh heh, I like it. Even beyond a first glance, this isn't as sloppy as you think it is. The blending is all done pretty smoothly, especially with the combination of the hand and the face. The stubble is a nice touch, I wouldn't remove it. I guess my only complaints would be the fact that the face and the skin aren't matching in skin tone, as you said; the hand is pale while the face is somewhat tan. Also, the work on the brain really doesn't flow that well, and I mean beyond it being too big. But hey, I've got nothing against experimentation. Overall, pretty good work. It has that shock factor.

Yep, it has potential and I like the concept of the brain in the hand.. I am going to redo it with a different brain and spend more than 30 mins on it!

seamless blending - love the concept - well executed - as for the color mismatch - may work in sepia

ty ty ty, I couldnt get the lighting just as I wanted it.. I made an earlier version were the brain wasnt right but the lighting was really good..then of course I re did it and couldnt recall the exact sequence of lighting effects and blending layers in the " fade light" option! hahah.. such is Photoshop!
